If you’re visiting Andalusia’s stunning capital this holiday season, meal options may be slim due to the fact that many local businesses close up shop temporarily, but no worries. You still have plenty of great options when it comes to where to eat in Seville on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Here are a handful of our favorites.
Where to eat in Seville on Christmas Eve
El Giraldillo
For more than 40 years, El Giraldillo has been a reference for homestyle sevillano cuisine and spectacular views of the Giralda from its picturesque terrace.

That’s exactly what’s in store at Restaurante San Marco in Santa Cruz, where the Christmas Eve menu consists of top-notch Mediterranean cuisine along with plenty of sherry for an essential sevillano twist. This unforgettable holiday meal costs €65 per person and reservations are recommended.

Becerrita
When it comes to Christmas meals in Spain, you can’t get much better than gathering around the table in the home of a beloved family member or close friend, passing around dishes of home-cooked food. If you haven’t scored an invitation to a Spanish friend’s home to join in on the festive foodie fun this December 25, no worries—Becerrita is the next best thing.
Open on Christmas Day, the cozy and elegant restaurant uses only ingredients that arrive fresh daily in their homestyle Andalusian dishes, so you can be sure that whatever you’re devouring is of the highest quality. Just don’t forget the vino—their award-winning wine list is one of Seville’s best.
Cervecería Raimundo
Despite the large quantities and high quality of food at holiday feasts throughout Spain, many times they aren’t anything too sophisticated or fancy—just good, honest dishes prepared with love. That’s what’s on the menu at Cervecería Raimundo, one of Seville’s most emblematic bars and restaurants which will be open on Christmas Day.

A lovely lunch at El Giraldillo based on your recommendation. The weather perfect. The paella delicious. The service great with a wonderful feeling that this was special. Watching the horse carriages departing so the drivers could get home to their families. The Cathedral. Magical.
